Our highest court should not be controlled by partisan politics. There are no enforceable ethics rules for justices right now, and too many conflicts of interest are left unchecked. It is time to bring accountability to the Supreme Court.
I support reforms including:
- Establishing a binding code of ethics for justices.
- Requiring justices to recuse themselves in cases where they have conflicts.
- Limiting terms on the Supreme Court through a rotation system so that no justice holds power for decades.
