Today, Democratic U.S. House candidate Jordan Wood announced his campaign has raised over $1.2 million in the fourth quarter – bringing the campaign’s total to $4.2 million raised since April. The fundraising surge reflects broad, grassroots enthusiasm for Wood’s campaign across Maine’s Second Congressional District and statewide.
The campaign’s Q4 support came from thousands of individual donors in communities large and small – underscoring the strength of Wood’s message to end Washington corruption and lower costs.
“This campaign is being powered by people who are ready for change – not special interests or corporate PACs,” said Jordan Wood, Democratic candidate for U.S. Congress. “Mainers are being squeezed by rising costs, and they want a representative who understands that reality and will fight to make life more affordable. That’s why I’m running, and I’m grateful for the support we’re seeing from communities across the state.”
Notable fundraising stats:
- Contributions from more than half of the towns in the district – from Aurora to Auburn
- Average donation was just $18.55 from over 64,442 individual contributors
- Contributions from all 11 counties in the district and all 16 counties in Maine
With strong grassroots backing and growing support across Maine, Wood enters 2026 positioned to defeat Paul LePage in one of the most consequential House races in the country.
