Democratic U.S. House candidate Jordan Wood announced today that a broad coalition of Lewiston-area elected leaders is endorsing his campaign for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District, marking a major show of hometown support.
The newly announced endorsers include:
- Carl Sheline, Lewiston Mayor
- Rep. Julie McCabe (HD-93)
- Rachel Randall, Auburn City Councilor
- Josh Nagine, Lewiston City Councilor
- Caleb Roebuck, Former Lewiston City Councilor
- Holly Lasagne, Former Auburn City Councilor
“I’m running for Congress because Maine’s 2nd District needs leadership rooted in this community – leadership that listens, shows up, and fights for working families,” said Jordan Wood, Democratic candidate for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District and Lewiston native. “Lewiston shaped who I am. I’m honored that so many leaders from my hometown are standing with our campaign and recognize the urgency of this moment for Maine.”
