Jordan Wood, who is also a candidate for CD-2, released a statement on X, saying, “Trump’s invasion of Venezuela & abduction of Maduro is a dangerous violation of the Constitution. Ignoring the separation of powers & Congress is unacceptable. No President can unilaterally take us to war. Yes, Maduro is a lawless dictator, but that does not give Trump permission to invade. This is not normal.”
