Today, a new independent poll from the University of New Hampshire showed Jordan Wood leading the field in the Democratic primary for Maine’s 2nd Congressional District.
This reflects Jordan’s strong campaign, including 40 town halls across all 11 counties in the district, strong debate and forum performances, and 8,000 contributions from Mainers across the state.
Jordan Wood said, “Mainers are tired of outsiders trying to tell them who should run for office here in Maine.
This poll shows what we’re seeing every day as we talk to voters. They want a fighter who will stand up to Donald Trump and the corrupt system in Washington DC, and who will fight for real results to improve their lives.
I am the best candidate to take on and defeat Paul LePage this November. Mainers want a champion who will fight for Medicare for All and work to lower the cost of living for our working families.”
